About me

Lydia Hubert: What defines me and who I am

Portrait Lydia Hubert

I see myself as a bridge builder. It excites me to connect the seemingly incompatible and to co-create processes - whether with my clients or when learning new approaches.

I am open and curious about people and systems, stories, questions and answers.

To grew up on the German-Luxembourg border gave me a fundamental experience early on: There are different perspectives and never just one single answer!

Intercultural diversity holds great potential. I have learnt to appreciate this over the many months I have spent in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, as well as in my decades of working on international projects.

My helicopter view on economic and social interrelationships was trained by my studies in Economics and social science research.

As a line and project manager at Beiersdorf, Johnson Controls and BASF, I gained in-house experience in international strategic HR functions. In most change projects, the support of renowned consulting firms was used. From 2001 onwards, in addition to the traditional specialist advice, I became familiar with process-orientated systemic consulting from a customer perspective. This provided me with surprising new insights into the effectiveness of interventions within the organisation, in my team and for myself.

The course was thus set for integrating the systemic approach into my work. In 2003, parallel to starting my own business, I expanded into theatre work.

On my path, I learnt and continue to learn from many great teachers, first and foremost from my clients. If necessary, I cooperate with colleagues from my network.
